Melbourne's balmy autumn weather is set to continue into the weekend with temperatures expected to be in the 20s on both days.


The Bureau of Meteorology forecasters are predicting a cloudy day Saturday with a top of 23 degrees and lows of 15 and northerly winds between 25 and 40km/h.


Sunday should be partly cloudy, with a top of 21 and a low of 14 and winds up to 25km/h.


The rain will stay away until Monday, with a shower or two developing and a top of 21.
