Hot air balloon lands in Melbourne carpark - Ninemsn

The balloon came down in Carlisle Street, Balaclava, about 7.15am (AEDT) in a controlled landing after problems with wind, police said.

Victoria Police spokesman Sergeant Kris Hamilton said an experienced pilot was on board and managed to steer the balloon to a property of residential flats.

"He's actually parked it into a car space," he told AAP.

There were no reports of injuries or damage.
