Police have charged a man with murder after a body of a man was found at a Seabrook home last night, while police are investigating the shooting death of a woman in a St Albans home this morning.
Police were called to a Beleura Way home at Seabrook at about 8.30pm, where they found the body of a 28-year-old Altona Meadows man.
A Seabrook man, 32, was arrested at the scene and later charged with murder. He has been remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Homicide Squad detectives were called to a St Albans home at 5am today, where they found the body of a woman who had been shot. Paramedics found the woman dead at the scene.
Investigators are at the Currumghi Circuit address.
