Students evacuated from Melbourne University college after fire - Herald Sun




STUDENTS were evacuated from a Melbourne University college after a fire sparked in an administration building this morning.



Metropolitan Fire Brigade firefighters were called to Ormond College in Parkville at 11.17am after the small blaze triggered the fire alarm.

The sprinkler system aided firefighters in dousing the flames, with four units attending the scene.


All students were successfully evacuated from the area and no one was injured.


The cause of the fire is still unknown.
