SYDNEY - The Melbourne Storm extended a ninth-month winning streak with a 17-10 victory over South Sydney, the only other previously unbeaten team in the National Rugby League.
The Storm won for the sixth consecutive time this season and haven't lost since last July.
In Melbourne's first visit to the former Olympic Stadium in Sydney since its 2012 premiership win, halfback Cooper Cronk set up two tries before clinching the match with a late field goal.
Sonny Bill Williams starred against his former club to lead the Sydney Roosters to a 38-0 win over Canterbury.
Playing against the Bulldogs for the first time since leaving the club to pursue a rugby union career four years ago, Williams scored two tries and set up another with his first touch of the ball.
