A young man has plunged to his death in an apparent balcony fall in Melbourne's north.
Police believe the 21-year-old fell from a five-storey building in Olive York Way in Brunswick West just after 1:30am.
They are trying to work out what he was doing before he died, and are questioning people who were in an apartment at the time.
Police have been told he went out to the balcony alone.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers and will prepare a report for the coroner.
