A man has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a truck in Melbourne's inner-north on Saturday morning.


Ambulance Victoria reported the man, believed to be aged in his sixties, was struck whilst walking along Nicholson Street, near the corner of Pigeon Street, in Carlton North, just before 9am.


He was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with unspecified injuries.
