POLICE are on the hunt for a skateboarder who grabbed a woman from a South Melbourne street before dragging her along the ground and sexually assaulting her
The 24-year-old woman was sitting on a fence talking on her mobile phone outside a car dealership on Kings Way, near Albert Road, when the man grabbed her from behind between 2.30am and 3am last Saturday.
He dragged her into the dealership between several cars and sexually assaulted her, stole her credit card and fled.
Investigators have released CCTV and a face sketch of the man they wish to speak with.
Police believe drivers passing through the area may have vital information.

The attack came moments after the man had approached the woman as she walked along the street and tried to strike up a conversation.
But the woman was on the phone and sat down on a fence outside the dealership to continue talking.
It was then that the man, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, crept up behind her and pulled her to the ground.
The man is described to be of South American appearance and speaks with an accent, is 165cm tall with a slim build, olive complexion and scruffy, collar-length brown hair.
He was wearing a black baseball cap with a B or D motif, a light-coloured sports hoodie, light grey pants and white sneakers with a dark stripe.
The man was carrying a black and green skateboard and a dark Nike backpack.
