A MAN has been killed and two others stabbed in an altercation at a Melbourne mosque.
Police say four men were involved in an altercation at the mosque in Dallas, in Melbourne's north, just before 11am today.
Three men were stabbed during the incident and one died, a spokeswoman said.
Two others were taken to hospital, one in a critical condition and the other in a stable condition.
The critical incident response unit attended and arrested the fourth man.
The homicide squad is on its way.
No further information about the man who was arrested, or the victims, was available.
Ambulance Victoria said the man taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition had wounds to the upper body.
