Police seize $10k worth of drugs at Melbourne Listen Out festival - ABC Local

Police have seized about $10,000 worth of the illicit drug MDMA at a music festival in Melbourne on Saturday.

Victoria Police used sniffer dogs to target drugs at the Listen Out festival in the Botanic Gardens.

They made 13 arrests and charged a 28-year-old man from Brighton with trafficking a drug of dependence.

He has been bailed to face court at a later date.

The 12 others were diverted into drug treatment programs.

Police also seized cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs.
