Grand final fever gripped Melbourne despite wintry weather, and 3AW was in the thick of it.
Thousands of fans including Prime Minister Tony Abbott, Molly Meldrum, Peter Siddle, Ricky Ponting were up bright and early for the North Melbourne Grand Final Breakfast at Etihad Stadium.

Later 3AW Football made some fans very happy by handing out heaps of grand final tickets for the best Toyota footy posters.
