A man has been charged over an armed robbery at Melbourne airport this morning.
The 26 year is in hospital after a short police chase ended in a crash on the Tullamarine Freeway.
Police allege the man was driving a stolen car when he crashed.
He has been charged with two counts of armed robbery and breach of parole.
After a bedside hearing the man was remanded in custody and will appear in court in December.
