GRANT HOLT is attracting interest from Melbourne Heart after the CEO of the Australian A-League side confirmed their intention of signing the forward.
The 32-year-old, who struggled for form last season, was subject of interest from Melbourne Heart in the January transfer window.
Norwich's valuation priced Heart out of a transfer for Holt, who has been at Carrow Road since 2009.
The Canaries' record signing of Ricky van Wolfswinkel from Sporting Lisbon suggests that Holt is likely to be a reserve for the Dutchman.
And this has lead to Heart renewing their interest in bringing the forward to Australia.
Scott Munn, Melbourne Heart CEO, said: "We made an approach and we always knew that it would be made public and that with him being contracted for two more years it might be complicated."
"We haven't closed the door on it as yet and will be pursuing it."
