IS Melbourne just too big? Do we call a halt to growth? Between 2010 and 2012, a total of 6300 residences were built in the city. This year alone, 5800 dwellings will be completed. And 4200 will be added every year until 2019.
These are historically high levels. The word that has been thrown around in the past week is "glut".
