Floor-to-ceiling windows flank both sides of the living room and a large, open kitchen, with views of a garden, lawn, swimming pool and poolside cabana with its own steam room and bar.





While Mr. Rockman, 44, oversaw the design of the house, his wife, Julia, 43, worked with interior designer Allison Pye on the furnishings by Australian, French and Italian designers.





The walls are white and the floors are a blond European oak, which provides almost perfect camouflage for the family's yellow Labrador, who bounds up for a sniff at visitors.





The living areas have large couches and thick rugs. The walls have colorful modern artwork by Australian artists like Leonard French and David Bromley; other pieces, such as a Buddha's head sculpture on a pedestal, were inherited from Mr. Rockman's grandmother.
