Planning Minister Matthew Guy has approved another tranche of skyscrapers in Melbourne's CBD, including what he says is the first 100-storey building in the southern hemisphere.
The approvals have led the state opposition to question the speed with which Mr Guy is approving high-rise towers for central Melbourne.

In a move reminiscent of "super Tuesday" in February this year, when Mr Guy signed off on another group of five towers, Mr Guy on Thursday announced he had approved three high-rise buildings, including the 319-metre tall Australia 108 in Southbank.
