A 27-year-old Melbourne resident was in serious condition late Sunday after he was struck by a car while crossing Wickham Road on a bicycle, Melbourne police reported.
The man, identified as Denzel Anthony White, was just north of the intersection with Lake Washington Road when he was hit by a southbound 1994 white Honda Accord. The vehicle continued without stopping and eventually entered the parking area of Caribbean Isle Apartment complex.
