A 1.5-magnitude earthquake has struck Lilydale in Melbourne's east this morning, with residents throughout the Yarra Ranges feeling tremors.


Geoscience Australia reported the quake struck at 6.57am at a depth of 1km. Residents in the Yarra Ranges reported hearing a loud "boom".


There are no reports of damage or injury.
