YOU can bank on a bunch of drag queens to bowl in and blast off the competition.
Let the roll call speak for itself: Spanky, Miss Polly Filla, Tina Del Twist, Fannie and Joey Arias.
Each of these accomplished artists will be unleashing their wondrous world of entertainment in separate shows during the unofficial festival of dress-ups, running from June 26 to July 7 in 16 venues across the city.
Artistic director David Read said each of the drag queens was a highly credentialed performer who added a different flavour of spice to the festival, now in its fourth year.
Here's what sumptuous treats they'll be serving up:
Renowned entertainer Trevor Ashley plays Fannie in his adults-only pantomime Little Orphan Trashley, a spoof of the Annie musical also starring Gary Sweet and Rhonda Burchmore.
Award-winning cabaret star Spanky returns with new show Dead Bitches. (An almost spoiler: one of the "dead bitches" is Madonna's career.)

New York cabaret icon Joey Arias will perform Arias on Holiday, a tribute to legendary jazz and blues singer Billie Holiday.
Miss Polly Filla is hosting a night called Ruby Ruby, a variety show of vaudeville, burlesque and cabaret.
Tina Del Twist, otherwise known as Melbourne comedian Wes Snelling, is performing in a show celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Fleetwood Mac album Rumours. It will be hosted by Spanky.
Another five festival highlights are:
The Opening Gala at the Palais Theatre on June 26 stars Motown royalty and founding member of The Supremes Mary Wilson. She will also perform in Stormy Weather: The Lena Horne Project at the Melbourne Recital Centre.

Melbourne's own cabaret provocateur Yana Alana returns with Between The Cracks, a bent cabaret of blues, burlesque and blame.
Naomi Price presents Rumour Has It: Sixty Minutes Inside Adele, a wicked new cabaret for anyone who's ever cried along to Someone Like You.
Mic Conway, from the original Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band, will present his trademark surreal brand of vaudeville.
Award-winning vocalist Fem Belling presents Dear Blossom, the music, tales and obsessions of cult Chanteuse Blossom Dearie. Fem has tread the boards on the West End and performed here in The Boy From Oz, Hairspray, Fame, Footloose and Cats.
