Giant waterslide stops traffic in UK city
What would a ride down a giant waterslide on steep city street be like? Hundreds of lucky residents in Bristol were earlier this year given the opportunity to find out.

A Melbourne city street could be transformed into a giant Slip'n Slide.
The City of Melbourne is considering five separate proposals to host a temporary water slide during summer.
The Slip'n Slide phenomenon is taking over the nation, with Hobart, Launceston, Devonport and Newcastle all announcing events.

Perth hosted Australia's first large-scale public waterslide, on December 14.
Thousands reportedly used the slide, which received mixed responses after early delays caused by a broken water pump.
A planned event in Fremantle has been postponed while organisers Slidestreet look for a site with a steep enough gradient.
In Tasmania, the 325-metre City Slider will be tested in a secret location ahead of appearances in Launceston and Devonport in February, and Hobart in March.
A City of Melbourne spokesperson confirmed the council has received five approaches to set up a one-day, 300-metre-long water slide during the 2014-15 summer.
The council was assessing the applications and scouting for locations with the appropriate gradient.
Should the permit be successful, waste water would be redirected to a water-storage facility to be reused in park irrigation, the spokesperson said.
