NORTH Melbourne has surrendered the lead to Adelaide at Blundstone arena, while the Bombers lead Gold Coast by 18 points at half-time.

The Kangaroos led by 12 points at quarter-time and kicked the first goal of the second term but then Adelaide took complete control.

With Patrick Dangerfield running amok the Crows peppered the ball inside 50 but strong defence from the Roos, and some inaccurate kicking, mean the game is still up for grabs.

While the Kangaroos are playing for a home final, the match is a virtual elimination final for the Crows who must win to keep their top eight hopes alive.

The Bombers kicked four goals in the second term to take control of the Suns at a sunbathed Etihad Stadium.

Michael Hurley is leading the way for the home side with 19 disposals and one goal, while Tom Lynch has two for the Suns.

And Adelaide fans aren’t the only ones hanging on the result — Richmond, West Coast, Gold Coast and Collingwood are all hoping for a North Melbourne win to keep the finals door ajar.

At Etihad Stadium, Essendon kicked the last two goals of a hard-fought first quarter to take a narrow lead against Gold Coast.
