GINA Liano from The Real Housewives of Melbourne looks set to hit the big time, signing on with the same manager as TV judge Dannii Minogue.
Liano is a new client of Profile Talent Management, the same firm that look after many of Australia’s big name celebrities including Minogue, Hamish Blake and Andy Lee, Sonia Kruger, Molly Meldrum and Ada Nicodemou.
In particular, Liano will be looked after by Melissa Le Gear, who has been the loyal and long-term manager of Minogue for years.
Liano and the rest of The Real Housewives of Melbourne, minus Andrea Moss who has left the show, started filming the second series on Monday.
There have been whispers one of the first projects Liano, a barrister, will do is a Judge Judy style pilot — but blinged up and with big hair.
The Real Housewives of Melbourne has just been picked up the American network Bravo, screening at midday on Sundays.
The second series won’t air on Foxtel until next year.
The production runs for a couple of months, and there are usually hours of unused footage that doesn’t make the final cut.

Meanwhile filming of the second series got underway in Melbourne this week, with some significant cast changes.
Confidential has had confirmed that Liberty Belle’s Andrea Moss is out, and there will be some new additions including art consultant Gamble Breaux and designer Lisa Tonkin, who is expected to be a secondary character.
Once source said that the current Housewives — Gina Liano, Lydia Schiavello, Janet Roach, Chyka Keebaugh and Jackie Gillies — have been kept in the dark with some of the changes so they are surprised on camera.
Although they were all contracted for three series, it is no surprise that Moss won’t be back, as she had an unhappy experience on the show last year.
Sources said she has not wanted to be part of a second series for a long time.
As for the new cast members, Tonkin has her own lifestyle and design brand called I Am Lisa T.
A source told Confidential that she will be in the show for a number of episodes.
Her website gives an insight into her personality.
“Obsessed with design, innovation and Johnny Depp,” it reads.
“An entrepreneur, a connector and a workaholic with a penchant for black and white.
“An aspiring Bodhavista with a daily meditation ritual.”
