VIRGIN Australia is to axe services between Melbourne and Los Angeles and boost its Brisbane-LA service to a daily schedule as part of a reshuffle of its trans-Pacific flights.

The airline will move from four Brisbane-LA return services per week to daily from October 26 and cut its Melbourne operation from October 25.
