Two men have been killed in a three-car collision in Melbourne's north on Wednesday night.
Leading Senior Constable Lee Thomson said police believed that a driver lost control of his blue Holden when heading north-west on Sunbury Road. The car collided with two other cars near the suburb of Melbourne Airport about 5.15pm.
The driver was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a "serious but not life-threatening condition", a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
The two men in the second car died at the scene, while the male driver of the third car was unharmed.
