A MINOR earthquake has reportedly rattled residents in Melbourne’s north.
The magnitude 2.5 tremor was felt in suburbs including Greenvale, Epping and Roxburgh Park, according to 3AW.
No damage has been reported.
Roxburgh Park resident Bonnie Radford told the Craigieburn Community Facebook page her windows shook and she thought it was a truck outside her house.
Leanne Haynes posted that she felt something not far from Bridgewater Rd in Craigieburn, while Rowan Crowe said he had heard it more than felt it.
“Was like when we had those windy nights a few weeks ago and a sudden gust would make a deep shuddering sound,” he posted.
IT was about 11am when Meadow Heights resident Teresa Pham noticed the small quake.
“I was at home lying on my bed,” she said.
More to come ...
