It is believed a naked man has died after being electrocuted while riding on the roof of a train at Balaclava station, in Melbourne's inner south-east.
Emergency services said the power has been cut and they are now trying to get onto the roof safely.
It is understood the man was riding on the roof of the train as it pulled into the station.
"It appears a passenger on the train has climbed onto the roof as it approached the platform and was injured," a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
"The person remains on the roof of the train and until it has been deemed safe for emergency services to get to him, his condition can not be confirmed."
Ambulance Victoria said they are attempting to access the patient at the station after being called to the scene at 2:30pm (AEST).
A witness who was working nearby told the ABC the man was naked and walking on the roof and fell on top of the train's electrical system.
He said the man was "convulsing and shaking" and was on fire for about five minutes.
Metro Trains said the Sandringham line has been suspended between South Yarra and Sandringham.
More to come.
