MELBOURNE are just outside the top eight following Monday night’s 24-20 win over the Gold Coast.

It was a seesawing affair which finished in Will Chambers bagging a double after rejoining the Storm from Origin camp.

The Storm were without key duo Camero Smith and Billy Slater thanks to Origin duty while the Titans were without Greg Bird and Nate Myles. They also lost halfback Albert Kelly earlier in the week. Kelly’s replacement Beau Henry left after eight minutes when he picked up a knee injury while Ashley Harrison also picked up a shoulder issue which saw him miss a large portion of the match.
