IT might be going too far to call it a game changer, but there can be no doubt Manchester City's majority purchase of Melbourne Heart is going to significantly alter the landscape of the A-League. As was the case with clubs in the English Premier League when Sheikh Mansour, one of the wealthiest men in the world, bought Manchester City in 2008, the other A-League entities will be nervously looking over their shoulders and wondering how they will be able to compete against such enormous resources.
