Melburnians are set for another rollercoaster of a week with the city’s weather expected to hit 36 today.
According to senior forecaster Phil King, Melbourne is currently sitting at 28 degrees in most areas and will reach 36 within the next couple of hours.
But Mr King told Neil Mitchell snow will be falling in the alpine areas by Thursday, with Melbourne's weather expected to drop on Thursday and Friday and then return to the high 20s by Sunday.
