JUSTIN Bieber fan Nicole Condos has opened up about his "rushed" meet and greet with fans at Rod Laver Arena yesterday and her fear that the young star could burn out.
Some fans had waited for four hours, with the meet and greet eventually happening at 8.30pm at Rod Laver Arena - the same time he was due on stage.
There was even a "crying room" backstage for hysterical fans.
"For $500 you're basically paying just for the professional photo with him," Condos said. "He didn't have the time to be personable or do much else as security were quick to work through the queue of around 80 to 100 fans. You got maybe 20 seconds with him. No mobile phones, autographs or personal cameras were allowed. If you're a diehard fan, $500 is worth it, but you shouldn't expect much more than him looking at the camera with you which is generally the case with meet and greets. "
Condos worried about Bieber's future, considering the track record for teen stars burning out.
"It felt as though he was on full energy, cruise control the whole show and a programmed robot. His team and family need to take responsibility of him instead of all being showbiz victims. I enjoyed the show and fans got what they paid to see, apart from getting to bed late on a school night- not that they'd be sleeping from the excitement."
JUSTIN'S PARTIES THE NIGHT AWAY
Meanwhile, Bieber fans going to his Melbourne show tonight may be in for another long wait as the tardy star sleeps off a hangover.

The 19-year-old singer was partying until 4am today at hip Melbourne club Mon Bijou.
Bieber arrived at the venue around 1.30am with his entourage and was spotted doing shots at the bar.
When he left the club at 4am, a source at the event said the teenager took the party back to his room at The Park Hyatt.
Bieber's security team made everyone in the bar sign a confidentiality form and banned photos.

It follows Bieber being 70 minutes late on stage at his first Melbourne show last night.
The pop brat was due on stage at 8.30pm, with a tentative end time of 10pm.
He finally arrived on stage at 9.40pm with no apology to fans or mention of his lateness.
It meant his show did not finish until after 11pm, way past the school night bed times of many of his young fans.

"Artist stage times are provided as a guide only and are subject to change on the night," Bieber's Australian promoter said today.
The lateness also pushed back the start of a meet and greet session - it meant fans who paid for the VIP package had only a few seconds with the star.

STAR 'GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS'
Jason Kelly of Shepparton took step-daughter Ellie, 14, to the event.
"It was a late night, we didn't get home until 2am," Kelly said.
"He was late coming on stage, which was pretty ordinary considering it was a Monday night and it wasn't just people from Melbourne there, people had come from all over Victoria and had a big drive ahead of them to get home. It was an effort to get her up for school today and she was a little late. I don't think she'll have a very productive day."
Kelly also went to One Direction and Pink with his daughter.
"Ellie loved the concert, but he could have just turned up and not sung and everyone would have been happy. I got ribbed from my mates for going to One Direction with her, but they put on a much better show. They actually connected with the fans. I've been to a lot of concerts and Bieber looked like he was just going through the motions. I thought it was all a bit clichéd."
DID TAHAN DISTRACT HIM?
In another twist, it appears Bieber was talking to Big Brother hottie Tahan Lew at the exact time he was due on stage in Melbourne.
A screen grab of Lew facetiming with Bieber went viral on Bieber fansites last night.
Lew, who has a boyfriend, said Bieber was due to go partying with him last night.
Lew is doing a summer radio show on the Austereo network with Big Brother winner Tim Dormer.
It is unclear how she managed to get Bieber's phone number.
Austereo have been approached for comment.
In Brisbane Bieber's concert dragged on so late some fans had to leave early in order to get the last available public transport.
The star has been late on stage at each of his Australian concerts.
He performs at Rod Laver Arena again tonight before moving to Adelaide and Perth, where his Believe world tour will end.
