Melbourne Victory FC versus Adelaide United FC - Sydney Morning Herald

7:45pm: Almost kick-off time now. The seats are still in at Etihad Stadium but the crowd is not quite at blockbuster proportions.

7:37pm: Jason Geria's total absence from the match-day squad has raised some eyebrows. Geria has gone from starting at right back to not even making the bench. Leigh Broxham will play there tonight. Victory's NYL team plays against Adelaide in Adelaide tomorrow. It will be interesting to see what role, if any, Geria plays in that game.

7:30pm: It's all happening up in Sydney. Ranko Despotovic knocks in the winner in the fourth minute of stoppage time for Sydney FC. Wellington can't score from a corner and the full-time whistle puts an end to the game. It means Sydney FC will hold third spot tonight regardless of the result in the Victory-Adelaide game.
