BP to cut jobs in Melbourne to improve competitiveness - ABC Online

BP will cut jobs at its offices in Melbourne but will not confirm how many will go.


The company says the cuts are in an attempt to improve its competitiveness.


Staff meetings were held today to inform employees about the cuts.


There are currently 1250 staff employed at BP in Melbourne, based at La Trobe and Bourke streets.
