A bus accident in Nepal has claimed the life of a 32-year-old Melbourne woman.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) confirmed the woman had died following a bus accident in the Asian country on Monday.
The Himalayan Times reported the woman was one of two killed when a bus bound for Kathmandu skidded off the road and plunged into the Trishuli River.
Nine others were injured and 11 people are currently missing, according to the paper.
Consular assistance is being provided to the woman's family.
