POLICE are hunting an armed robber who held up the ANZ bank in North Melbourne this afternoon.



It is believed one man robbed the bank in Errol Street at 2.30pm.


Detectives are at the scene and investigating.


Victoria Police confirmed it received a 000 call of an armed robbery and that one man was thought responsible at this early stage.
