Melbourne chief executive Peter Jackson has another project to deal with – finding a new major sponsor.


General Motors' European car brand Opel announced on Friday that it had closed its Australian operation, after less than a year on local shores.


The Demons had already known that Opel was struggling financially, and were preparing to find another sponsor for next season.


In what has been a dismal season for the Demons on-field, they clash with winless Greater Western Sydney today.
