Police are appealing for witnesses after a hit and run collision in Melbourne.
Investigators say a man was standing on Fitzroy Street in St Kilda trying to hail a taxi when he was struck by a car around 3.20am (AEST) on Sunday.
The car, which is believed to be a taxi, did not stop at the scene.
The 23-year-old Berwick man has been taken to hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
