A MAN has been killed in a hit-and-run accident in Melbourne's east.
The 50-year-old was standing in the middle of a street in suburban Forest Hill on Friday night when hit by a car speeding through a stop sign.
Police say they're eager to speak to the driver as they prepare a report for the coroner.
