LIVE HQ: SUPERCOACH SCORES, STATS

1/4 time: Kangaroos 27 lead Cats 19

The Kangaroos lead into the first change on the back of Daniel Wells (two goals) and Brent Harvey's efforts in the midfield.

The veteran racked up 10 disposals in the hotly contested attacking term.

Aaron Mullett (11 disposals) provided the major highlight of the quarter making light work of a half volley before snapping over his shoulder for the Roos fourth goal.

Roos defender Lachie Hansen and Scott Thompson have worked well in tanden restricting the Cats talls.

Cats speedster Steven Motlop provided a spark early kicking two quick goals.

Meanwhile, Mathew Stokes opened the scoring for the Cats kicking a goal from a free kick 35m out directly in front.

PRE-GAME

NORTH Melbourne has been forced to make a late change with key defender Cameron Delaney to miss tonight's clash with Geelong.

Delaney is out with a toe injury.

He has been replaced in the selected side by utility Sam Wright.

Kangaroos young gun Brad McKenzie will start as the substitute, as will Geelong's Billie Smedts.
