Help stop food going to waste


SecondBite is using leftovers to feed hungry Australian's this winter. The aim is to raise half a million dollars at Coles towards the redistribution of fresh food to over 900 community food programs across Australia. Coles shoppers can make a donation at the register, or purchase a raffle ticket for the chance to win Coles gift cards.

Winter Evenings of Chocolate
Koko Black is excited to announce the 6 premium dessert degustation. CWA's Creative Arts Exhibition
The Country Women's Association is presenting the Creative Arts Exhibition at the Bendigo exhibition centre. Besides crafts there's plenty for foodie fans including cookery and preserve making competitions. As well as this, refreshments and cook books will be available for purchase.

The magic of truffles


Australian's can enjoy their delicious truffles once again at Madame Truffles this July. As well as a store, Madame Truffles has partnered with several cafes across Melbourne to create truffle toasties. Cafés include St. Ali, Cheerio (Richmond), Guerilla Espresso (Footscray) and The Premises (Kensington). Other events include a whisky and truffle tasting night and the family truffle dinner.

Sample 'Prohibition Era' style cocktails
As part of the 'Underbelly: Squizzy Exhibition' the Old Melbourne Goal is hosting an exclusive 'Pop up' Speakeasy. A speakeasy was an establishment that illegally sold booze during prohibition.
