The Supreme Court of Victoria has found Construction Forestry Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) in contempt of court for its blockade of a Grocon building site in Melbourne's CBD.
Legal action was taken by the construction giant when the union continued its protest outside the Myer Emporium site despite a court injunction in August last year.
The blockade involved violent clashes with police.
The union was also found to have breached court orders when it blocked access of a truck to a second Grocon building site in Footscray.
Penalties to be imposed against the union are yet to be decided.
