A HOME has been damaged by a car explosion in Melbourne's southeast.
Emergency services were called to the scene about 11.30pm (AEDT) on Wednesday after the explosion, which came from a car parked on a nature strip in Narre Warren.
A number of windows at a house were shattered but no one was injured.
The cause of the explosion is unknown and police are treating it as suspicious.
The Bomb Response Unit is at the scene and an arson chemist will investigate later on Thursday.
