A car driven by a teenager reached speeds of up to 120 kilometres per hour in Melbourne suburbs as it was pursued by a police helicopter last night.
Police tried to pull over a driver in Dallas just after 11pm (AEDT), but he refused to stop.
He was then pursued by the chopper for 90 minutes through Pascoe Vale, Mill Park, Reservoir and Thomastown.
The 19-year-old eventually crashed the car and was arrested after running away from the scene.
The teen has been charged with conduct endangering life, unlicensed driving and other traffic offences.
