A HOUSE has been engulfed in flames in Melbourne's west.
Fire crews arrived at the brick home just after 4pm (AEDT) to find it fully alight, causing part of the roof to collapse.
The fire at the Booth Way home in Taylors Lakes took 30 minutes to control.
No one was home at the time.
Crews will remain on duty through the night and fire investigators will attend at first light on Monday to determine the cause.
