FIRST HALF
First minute: Phoenix 0-0 Heart
Coach Ricki Herbert has kept faith with his starting line-up against Mariners last week - no changes to start this encounter.
Balmy conditions in Wellington tonight.
PRE-GAME
Last week's draw against top-of-the-table Central Coast was a much-needed shot in the arm for the Phoenix, who seemed to have lost their way in preceding weeks.
The introduction of a newlook frontline injected renewed enthusiasm and energy, and while they didn't fully capitalise, the youngsters can take heart from the number of half-chances they created.
Wellington had become too reliant on Jeremy Brockie to provide their strike power, but with Dani Sanchez now find the net over the past two games, there's a sense the attack has become less one dimensional.
The Heart have not exactly sent shivers of ear through the league with their attack either, having scored just 13 goals in 12 outings this season.
Last time these two teams met, the result was a 1-1 draw, but the Phoenix were without their All Whites contingent and were forced to put a very makeshift line-up out on the park.
One would hope a near full-strength side could do better.
