Ambulance delays worsen across metropolitan Melbourne - Herald Sun

CRITICALLY ill patients are waiting longer for an ambulance in every metropolitan suburb - some up to three minutes - than they were two years ago.

Code 1 response times for "lights and sirens" cases between January and June this year - including heart attacks and serious car crashes - have increased at every one of the 122 metropolitan branches, compared with the yearly average response time for 2009-10.
